There is no hesitation when it comes to recognising the creative talent birthed in New York City. Some of the most popular urban fashion lines to have come from The Big Apple, Supreme, The Hundreds and Stussy are a few honourable mentions.  Now what happens when two of New Yorks baddest designers come together… and then appoint one of New Yorks finest rappers to model for them. The trio who manage to together execute a range of pieces that will not show to expire.

I’m talking Joey Bada$$ meets Bathing Ape meets Kith.

Ronnie Fieg who had opened up his own apparel and footwear boutique in NYC back in 2011 has come a long way to now debuting this first runway show in his home town. Kith, who has titled the event “Kithland” presents us the components which represent the inspiration behind the products – beach, city and mountain.

Featured in Ronnie Fieg’s “Kithland”, Bathing Ape was just one amongst a number of reputable apparel brands. These were just some of who managed to make an appearance in Kith’s first fashion show; OFF-WHITE, Aimé Leon Dore, ASICS, Bergdorf Goodman and Adidas to name a few.

So what can we expect to see from the collection? Hoodies, t-shirts and some New Era headwear. All in which feature a simplistic designs, full of neutral tones, easily giving your outfit that edge. More importantly it features the “Fiegstas”, the new sneakers where we see the traditional Bapesta silhouette in Triple White or Sand. The shoe making process was documented to ensure that its admirers get a personal look as to how the centerpiece for the collection was produced.

All of the Bape x Kith collection is available to purchase from 17/09 on the official BAPE site.
